Simplistic Landscape Renovation

A referral from a friend, the West Branch property needed a modern update requiring low maintenance garden care and seasonal interest. The residence’s initial planting wasn’t a complete loss and many existing plantings were eventually woven into the new landscape design. In addition to the front foundation, the homeowners requested a simplistic edit of the front entry island planting at the center of the driveway circle. Efforts at West Branch are scheduled to continue into 2021, where more attention to driveway island planting will be given and additional perennials will be introduced into the front foundation planting. Small, slow solutions and a response to ongoing change at this second home/shared use estate will benefit the diversity of those who interact in its landscape.
